Happy New Year From Bruce!

So, first of all I would like to apologise for not updating Bruce's blog for what seems like about 5 years!! I have been very busy with college and have simply not had the time. So here is an update of Bruce's progress from the last few months. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to try and update the blog much more often.

To begin with, Bruce and Teddy did not get on with each other. At all. But soon my ears became immune to the constant growling and snarling. Teddy is not a vicious dog, but I'm sure you would be annoyed too if a puppy wouldn't stop jumping on top of you, licking your face and biting your tail. But now Teddy has realised that actually, Bruce is quite a nice little friend to snuggle up to, and they are getting on much better recently!

Bruce is a very happy and also VERY lively puppy. But after one of his mad fits he will suddenly crash out on the sofa for a nap! Sleepy Bruce is the best Bruce! He also makes the strangest noises I have ever heard a dog making, and frequently grunts, snorts and squeals whilst having funny dreams! (And whilst awake.)

Bruce has now had all his booster injections and can therefore venture out into the world! This is very exciting and involves a lot of shaking and wiggling during car journeys, and that's just me!  Like Teddy, Bruce has an obsession with a ball, but unlike Teddy he is very reluctant to 'drop it' and give it back to us. You can see the inner turmoil going on his brain when we try to bribe him to drop the ball - "Chicken, or ball? Chicken, or ball?". This is often accompanied by indecisive whimpering.

Bruce had a very lovely Christmas, mainly because it revolved around food and scraps of ham and beef. But also because it involved opportunities for him to be dressed up in Christmas attire, much to our endless amusement.

Here you will see pictures of Bruce in his santa hat and scarf (borrowed from the talking Christmas dog who Bruce has decided he hates and wants to murder) and wrapped up in his beautiful Christmas bow! Bruce even got mentioned on Radio 1 when we sent in this picture in response to them asking for cute animal pictures! I think I may have got overly excited about that…

Anyway… I shall not waffle on for too long and bore your cotton socks off so, Happy New Year and I will hopefully be updating you much more often on Bruce's strange ways!
